i am currently pursuing my b.ed.i want to do my master in psychology. Can i do my psychology through distance education. But i was t0ld it has no value at all.. Is that true.. plz help and i don't want to leave my teaching yet complete my masters

Dear Poonam,
It is not that doing master's in psychology will not give you any value. Normally a full time course has much more value than a part time course. Apart from this nothing else.
Always remember that "Something is always better than nothing" ;)

If you are doing B.Ed, surly the psychology course will help you a lot to understand the human attitude and behaviours. Surly you will understand you students well. So there is possibility of doing it on distance mode. If possible please do the course. All the Best.

Psychology is an interesting subject, its dealing with human thinking and their behaviors and deeply analyses the reason behind it. Learning depends on individual efforts, capabilities and commitment. There are poeple who are in part time course who have dedication and succeeded greater hieghts. It all depends on your interest and passion, psychology is truly a wonderful subject, It is a ocean which stimulates our learning.Being a psychologist, I have always been amazed by this field of science.

i am agree with ykhan it dosn't matter where from you are doing your studies but matter how far knowledgebase you are developing from the same, that's why this quote is famous "something is better than nothing". each action teach us that we don't know earlier.

Doing psychology is not only good for professionals but I would recommend it for all. Its a very good course. If one desires to do it, Annamalai UNiversity is the best for Distance mode. It is MSc (Applied Psychology), if you do it from Annamalai UNiversity. If need further information. do write me. I did it from there.
