The word "Uniform" implies that treating the people without any difference/discrimination. At most of the time wearing desirable costumes boost the energy and make the employee relax on their mental worries(they permit to wear their lovable colors), so its advisable not to have the dress code at the workplaces.

But u can also add soem example.. especially DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation) whose yellow helmet has become synonomous with almost every construction project... the workers take pride in wearing it..
