I was working with a reputed insurance company in Kolkata for around 3 years as an executive. Due to a lack of job satisfaction, I changed that job and joined a small BPO. Here, I am receiving the same salary as my previous job. This is a stopgap assignment for me, and I want to move to a reputed company with a significant salary hike from here. However, I am facing a problem answering this question—why I changed from my previous company with the same salary and why I want to change again within 4-5 months. This is impacting my interview performance heavily as interviewers are getting negative hints from this fluctuation in my employment history.

Please help.

in interview you dont mention that you have frequently changed a job.put maximum period of work even if you have quited in early time it’s ok regards, vaishali

You can say something like this...

"I switched to the new company even though the salary was the same because there were better opportunities in the new company. In my previous job, the work was monotonous, and I wanted to grow; hence, I started searching for a new job. I found a company with better opportunities where I could learn new things. As my passion is to learn and strive for better, I joined a company with the same pay."
