Hi All,
I am working for a software company. And i am asked to formulate the Work Hour Policy. Generally in our office people are there by 11AM and they sit till long hours. Now i am told to make a policy wherein i should mention about the work timings and also to track every individual's timing. The company has decided to put 11AM to 4PM as core work hours whrere eveyone has to be present and the mail is also been to sent to everyone in the same regard. Now the employees have misunderstood and they are taking it in a wrong way thinking that is the office time.
So, seniors need your help in setting a company's policy about the work timings.
Would like to see some reponses ASAP as i have send this by end of this week. You can also send me your views to my gmail id mentioned below.
Regards,
Sonali.

Why is it for just 5 hours a day? Why can't you make it like 9 am to 5 pm or even 6 pm?
As per law there can be at least 8 hours of working and the total spread over including hours of breaks for lunch and tea shall not exceed 10 hours and 30 minutes. As such think of a timing in such a manner that the total hours that an employee will be there in your office shall not exceed 10 hours or even 10 hours and 30 minutes.
