I am working in Ariyalur (TN), and i have got compensation amount approved from insurance company, now can you tell me how to find out the near by WC Commissioner officer from where we could get the amount settled?

In my view you should approach your nearest State Labour Office where you have met with the accident as in most of the cases the labour department officers are working in the capacity of the Commissioner, Workmen's Compensation under the W C Act, 1923. Some where these powers are vested with the Sub Divisional Magistrate / Presiding Officer, Labour Court/ Industrial Tribunal. Therefore get this information from the Labour Office.
