Hi Sidharth
Thanks a lot for being so v. much cooperative. The ppt. matter is excellent but I guess, I wont be able to use it 4 the project.
Actually, in project, i have to evaluate the already existing training modules of the co. at each level of Kirkpatrick model and for each level, I need forms and statistical or any other tool to analyze the responses of the trainees.
kindly, reply soon for the new doubt.
I am highly obliged

Hi Mitali
First things first. What are you trying to achieve in the dissertation; is it a review of existing methods or is it to give recommendations for improvements? What have your sponsors/tutor said? How is the existing T&D evaluated - is there a universal evaluation methodology and is it understood by all who have to use it; is it valid, reliable and consistent over time and between users. What data will you need to draw your conclusions. How will you collect and analyse it (e.g. subjectively, against published data from other companies, or through the company's own methods). Can you find out any comparable studies published elsewhere?
I apologise for setting you lots of questions - but it is usually better to start with these rather than with an off-the-shelf answer.
And remember - very few organisations are able to analyse the benefits of T&D at Level 4 - the best that most can do is a stab at Level 3.
Good luck

Hello Mitali,
You can start with a good summary of Donald Kirkpatrick’s Four Level Evaluation Model >> http://www.businessperform.com/workp...ffectiven.html
If you need a set of training evaluation tools based on the model, you can find a good one here >> http://www.businessperform.com/html/...n_toolkit.html

Hello Mr. Simhan
Thank you v. much for directing me to ur v. much relevant post.
Actually, I have already completed the Reserach Methodology, am clear with what I am supposed to do at Level 1 and Level 4 of Kirkpatrick's model. I have downloaded relevant questionnaire for the level 1 and level 4, nothing I can do but to gather the data from the co., no questionnaire i need for it. But my problem areas are related to Level 2 and Level 3. I am not getting the relevant questionnaires (Self assessment of the employees) for these levels. For these level, I have already downloaded a working sheet of 3T-test but the statements filled in that sheet are not relevant. So I need to change them and for this I need the questionnaires.
I am a fresher and am going to evaluate the already existing training practices of a automobile dealership co. using the model and giving few suggestions to improve them through my analysis (the result from all the levels of the model).
Kindly guide me
