Salary consists of taxable & non-taxable income. You will have to add taxable component over & above 2.5 lacs.
But what are the taxable comonent i.e. FBT, House Rent, Travelling & Local conveyance, Bonus, Incentive & Commission, Medical All., Phone & Staff Welfare etc. ? Friends please share the applicability for FY 09-10.

Appoint as Consultant (i.e. on Contract) and pay 2.5 lacs + 10.3% TDS (or as applicable).
By reverse calculation, you will get 2,78,707 - 28,707 = 2,50,000/-.
