Hi friends,
Could someone tell me what exactly is the rule related to Provident Fund coverage for the teachers of a Private School (new school to be affiliated to CBSE, with a staff strength of 9? Do part time teachers- visit weekly once, period of appointment till March 31, also need to be given provident fund facility? The school exists in th premises of a software company, run by the same management, but has nothing to do directly with the said company. it has its own building and land earmarked for it. Will this make it mandatory for the school to abide by any of the rules pertaining to the Company?
Waiting for your reply,

Dear Mathew
There no different rule for School. If no. of person (including teachers, clerk, peon cashier, accountant) are more than 20 u r covered under the EPF Act. If the software Company is covered under EPF Act than the said schools is also covered under EPF Act with the date of setup.
& IF not than no. of Employee of both firm will be count to 20 for coverage under EPF Act.
