I attach the PowerPoint slides to enable a facilitator to carry out a half-day "Visioning Exercise." When change agents are working with a leadership team, it is useful to guide the team to focus on how the new organization will be 2-3 years from now and then plan the steps to make the vision a reality. This presentation provides a step-by-step guide for change agents to use to help leaders create a vision of the future.

Vision is something that cannot be attained. It's very complicated to envision. Basically, a vision is where the money is going to be in the future, and that's very difficult to predict. There is a book written by some PhDs from Harvard. It's a shrewd way of predicting things. I liked it, you know. You need an economist, a strategist, and even then there's no way of predicting the correct vision. IBM outsourced the software and core processor thinking the major money is in manufacturing. They got it all wrong a long time back.
