The beauty of SAP is instant data collection and integration for multiple locations. Another advantage that SAP provides is standardizing the business processes and practices, thus offering strict adherence to company policies.
I have used customized ERP solutions (based on Foxpro, Oracle, and Clipper) as well as SAP in my previous organizations. Personally, I found SAP better than the others and more user-friendly.
