Dear all,

As I promised in another thread, after reading some articles here, I decided to prepare this slideshow. It had been in my mind for a long time, but I was not in the mood to prepare it.

Thanks for the motivation from my friends on citeHR.

Tonight, I finished it. Please forgive any spelling or grammar mistakes as it was made within one hour.

I welcome your views and comments on each slide. I am open to editing if I have provided any incorrect information.

Regards,

I really appreciate your dedication to preparing a slideshow like this.

I was really shocked to learn that there isn't any picture of the child Wilma Rudolph available, not even on the internet!

Thanks.... really inspirational.

Dear T Raju,

I appreciate your effort, but this content appears to have been copied numerous times and presented in various formats to create an original touch. Please refrain from doing this.

Dear @T Raju,

You seem to contradict your own statement within just two lines - please review your post before publishing it! The information I shared is not groundbreaking; rather, I sought additional input from viewers to enhance the content.

Mount Everest held the title of the world's highest peak long before it was officially recognized as such. Do you grasp the concept, Raj? No worries. Fluorescent lamps may illuminate a tad later, but they shine brighter than a standard 60-watt bulb. (A tribute to Sir Thomas Alva Edison)

@Sathya,

Sir Einstein was born with a 'silver spoon in his mouth' and displayed exceptional intelligence even in his early school years. By the 6th or 7th grade, he was engaging in scientific debates with 10th-grade students - delve deeper into the subject by conducting a Google search.

When I mention the word "computer," it's evident that I am referring to Mr. Bill Gates. Therefore, I have included two slides featuring their quotes as a token of appreciation for their contributions. Are you pleased with this addition, Mr. Sathya?

Dear Mammu,

You would be surprised to know that your PPT has been copied and posted again on CiteHR. The offender has not even given a reference to you or any acknowledgement. Here is the link: https://www.citehr.com/201184-fantas...onfidence.html. Since it has been plagiarized and put to commercial use, I suggest you take suitable action against the offender. I am with you in this fight against piracy, plagiarism, and copyright violation.

Dear Raj Kumar Ji,

The content in these slides has been in circulation for more than a decade, either in electronic or printed form (from books by Promod Batra, Napoleon Hill, Shiv Khera, etc.). Mr. Sadiq also mentioned in his previous response that he has compiled these materials and is open to modifying them based on viewers' suggestions. In his reply, he drew inspiration from Mount Everest, expressing his admiration as high as the iconic mountain. My sincere regards to you, Mr. Sadiq.

Several examples cited by Mr. Sadiq in his other presentations can be found in the book "You Can Win" by Shiv Khera. It is essential not to use these slides for any training session unless one is equipped to handle a session effectively (as inadequacies will be apparent to the trainees).

I appreciate the concern and suggestions offered.

Thanks,
KCS Kutty

Dear all,

Please avoid conflicts. Mr. Mammu has explained his intentions at the time of publishing this slideshow, which we can see was personally prepared by him. However, what Mr. Monil did was simply post a PowerPoint presentation that has been circulating on the internet for the past decade, as Mr. KCS Kutty mentioned.

Furthermore, as Mr. Mammu pointed out, the statement about Albert Einstein in Mr. Monil's post is completely inaccurate. Mr. Mammu provided his own explanations for each slide. One standout point, in my opinion, is about Wilma; it was truly shocking to learn that there are no pictures of her childhood. This is why I appreciate Mr. Mammu's post.

That's all.

I also noted this. When I asked Mammu about this, he told me that his life was completely changed after attending Mr. Shiv Khera's training personally; so his thoughts have a direct influence on him.

I agree with you, Sathya. I had attended a session of Mr. Shiv Khera after the publication of "You Can Win" in Chennai. He had come to Chennai for the release of the Tamil version. His presentations are really inspiring and highly motivating. Sadique is a youngster highly motivated, and he is doing noble work of sharing with others. Let's contribute to his post and make the presentation more lively and informative.

I agree with your friends. But I know Mammu's work, including the words and the pictures he chose, are his own. Though he is definitely motivated and inspired by many others. If tomorrow I write a paper or make a presentation on Ramayana, it will definitely not be an original work, but an inspired one. But I do not think anybody should use the same words, use the same pictures, and merely rearrange everything and add or delete a few words from here or there; then they can escape the charge of plagiarism! This is not acceptable. An original work must be acknowledged, or the other person should create a different kind of work.

I cannot copy a few scenes from Ramanand Sagar's long TV serial "Ramayana" and make a short movie out of it and claim that since Ramayana has been around for thousands of years, and the serial maker was inspired by it, I have the right to copy his serial frame by frame, scene by scene, and call it my own (after all, I have edited it in my way!). This argument or view is incorrect.

Dear Raj Kumar Ji,

I appreciate your concern. Copying is illegal. Copying and publishing with one's own name, without acknowledgment, is also illegal. But most of the PowerPoint presentations, papers, and documents published here are created by someone.

KCS, Uday, and Sathya.. Thanks,

I am really sorry, KCS. You don't know from what condition I am preparing these slides. My position as the head of Admin & HR of one of the biggest groups of companies in the East Africa Region (Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea & Djibouti) keeps my days and nights really busy. Moreover, I am in a cold war with the Chairman because of not accepting my resignation too!

I am not finding something on the net to repost. It takes quite an effort. For the last 2 weeks, and up to the next 2 weeks, I don't think I will be free enough to make another one in the same manner.

Anyway, I have a plan to prepare a PPT on "Attitude," "Core Competencies," and "Principles of Success" (separately). I don't know when I can make it.

Thanks for all of your support.

Dear Sadique,

I fully agree with you (not reposting what is posted a hundred times or more). I have seen today the thread "Asians and..." The presentation was really superb. I felt like I was reading a book, and on the final page, the message comes above your signature (which was on all pages!!!). That's creativity. I appreciate your patience to make every page unique. I am not very familiar with PowerPoint 2007. Visual richness is the special attraction of your presentations.

Hi Mammu,

First of all, good effort. It was really nice. I thought I would share with you about the slideshow. It would have been better if the contents in the slides did not overlap the designs. I also thought that if all the slides had the same fonts, it would have been more professional too. Again, since you prepared it within an hour, there are chances for you to have overlooked these aspects. But with these changes, your work will definitely be more appreciated.

Dear Vinodh,

It is our criticism that gives him inspiration to make better presentations. Have you seen his new thread: https://www.citehr.com/204640-asian-...ern-mammu.html? It looks far better because of our criticism, I think.

We are friends, Vinodh!
