The point has been made clear.Overconfidence is a behavioural aspect that drives a person to overconfidence.Added to this are other traits like taking a shortcut and to deliberately indulging an unsafe act because the result/punishment is not relected immediately."Baad mein dekha jayega" culture.

Ppt on over confidence is a good one.
Take the case of road accidents. If the driver looses his focus even for a few seconds, it can result in a catastrophe. Also,over confident people have to face failure most the time. The main point is to pay full attention to what ever you are doing .
