Dear LAl,

I received a very good PowerPoint presentation from my office colleague. It is really beautiful and gives us motivation to work hard and never have an attitude. Please share the same with your employees, friends, and colleagues.

Dear Ma'am,

How many times do you want to force CiteHR members to see this ppt? It has been posted so many times earlier. Kindly search the site before posting anything. Moreover, such acts amount to plagiarism. Kindly avoid. Please post only those ppts that you have made yourself; otherwise, kindly refer through a link.

No offense, but this PowerPoint is rubbish. Sending something like this to someone who is hard to manage is not going to work very well as a management strategy for improving their performance. If you're serious about it, you should try coaching and then implement disciplinary measures if coaching doesn't work.

As an aside, this is one of the most personally motivational things that I've seen recently.

A stupendous PowerPoint presentation. It provides facts and figures about great personalities who faced challenges in their early lives but later became influential and beneficial to humanity. It is truly a source of marvelous inspiration for youngsters.

Hi,

I am pursuing an MBA in HR and need to start working on my dissertation. The topic that I have chosen is "Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement" in the IT sector. I am quite confused about what I should include in this. I need help regarding this research.

Thanks,
Pooja

I just don't understand how you guys in HR get away with your English. You said: "It is very beautiful and 'give' us motivation." It should have some subject-verb agreement and should read as: "and 'gives' us motivation." Also, your spelling of "collegues" may be a typo and should be spelled "colleagues." Hope you do better next time.

My protest was INTENDED, the harsh words were INTENDED (unfortunately, but not un-surprisingly; you were not able to understand - it was expected from you.)

What do you expect for doing a cut and paste job ??

What do you expect for reposting a ppt again ??

Did you read the posting guidelines before posting your thread ??

When I pointed out that this ppt has been posted many times in the past, did you take the trouble to verify ???

Sorry, I can't thank you for wasting others' time in downloading your ppt, wasting energy resources, and adding to global warming by going through the SAME STUFF again.

In any case, if somebody is telling you something, there is no need to attack that person. But, you are young and immature; much too pompous for your own good. I forgive your sordid insinuation, as I do not wish to carry that burden.

Please go ahead, collect more praises, compliments, and thanks, repost all the ppts that have ever been posted on this site - if that is what you desire. It is your choice. I shall not protest henceforth.

Thanks for your wishes, but I do not need them, as I no longer need to make a career with an employer. After working for almost three decades in only truly gigantic and blue-chip companies, and with an MBA from one of the IIM's, and other credentials from nationally reputed institutions; I do not need to.

Regards.

Dear jayshree15,

My post was not meant to solicit goodwill or praise from you; it was a protest. Rather than paying attention and limiting your response to my feedback, you chose to attack me in a manner that only speaks about your attitude. Therefore, I am neither inclined to stoop down to your level nor find any need to indulge in personal attacks on this site - a professional public forum. Such behavior would not speak well of our professional integrity or personal maturity, and I am hopeful that better sense will prevail to make you desist from such an "attitude" of indulging in a personal slugfest in public.

For the benefit of dear members, I am appending herewith the links to various threads in this very forum, CiteHR, where you will find the same PPT as posted by Ms. jayshree15. Just click on the links given.

- The same PPT was posted on 25th Aug. by Simmy P and received a lot of criticism since it was already posted earlier. But the attitude of Simmy was commendable and praiseworthy as she accepted the brickbats with grace and dignity. See the posts to find out.

- It was posted earlier on 29th June by raajz_johnny, and I posted the following comments:

"Many of us have seen this very same PPTs earlier; many times in this forum itself. Kindly..........

Regards."

Again, the "attitude" of raajz_johnny was worth emulating, as he noted my comments and thanked me.

- On the same day; i.e., 29th June itself, the same PPT was posted by kalpso, and I responded to him with my comments.

Here's the link: [https://www.citehr.com/174633-attitude.html](https://www.citehr.com/174633-attitude.html)

- Before that, it was posted on 28th July by drkr.

- Earlier, it was posted on 25th July by gunjangupta.

Here's the link: [https://www.citehr.com/181870-attitude.html](https://www.citehr.com/181870-attitude.html)

Here's the link: [https://www.citehr.com/177412-attitude.html](https://www.citehr.com/177412-attitude.html)

This list is illustrative and not exhaustive. In fact, there are many more posts with the same PPT attached.

I don't think it is a good practice to post exactly the same material again and again; that too, without acknowledging the source and purporting as if it is the original creation of the poster. It is the responsibility of everyone to know the policy for posting on this site, as well as ways to deal with copyright material.

Regards.

Dear Jayshree,

Thank you. Today is the day when I thought of transforming my life for the better, and what a day to read your presentation. Probably, God wanted it this way. Thanks once again. I have saved the article for further reference.
