Confused About Defining Hierarchy: Should It Be Based on Salary or Experience? - CiteHR

I am working in an organization where the hierarchy is not well defined. I need suggestions from all of you as I am confused about how to define the levels - according to their salary or experience? Please help me out.

Usually, organizational hierarchy needs to be decided by the board or CEO. First, you may need to collect their inputs. However, one thing is sure: organizational hierarchy can't be defined based on salary.

Most HRMS suites will have the facility to define organizational hierarchy.
