Dear Sumit,
What help do you want on strategic thinking? I have a client in Abu Dhabi to whom I provide online mentoring services. As a part of my mentoring service, I also guide/coach him on "Entrepreneurship". Perhaps you could be aware that strategic thinking is the foundation of entrepreneurship.
The biggest challenge of strategic thinking is that not many understand the meaning of strategy correctly. If they haven't understood the meaning, how can you expect them to execute the strategy?
Ok...

Thanks, Dinesh, for your response! I agree with what you have stated to some extent. What I am looking for here is aligning the training function towards the company's goal of making it a knowledge center. (We cater to the insurance sector)

Dear Sumit,
For insurance, the most crucial aspect is sales. To be effective in selling, you need to develop your own sales process. Not many insurance companies, except for the top one in India, have crafted their own sales process. You can do this. Obtain as much information as possible from your managers on why sales occurred or why they did not.
Additionally, encourage your sales and operations staff to communicate any operational errors that occur. Once you are aware of them, use them as case studies for your respective training modules. By accumulating such examples, you will not need to rely on external company examples for any topic.
For further information, feel free to contact me on my mobile.
All the best!
