For engaging apprentices under the Apprentice Act, you have to get a panel from the District Apprentice Adviser/ Training Officer. He will be stationed in the RI Centre (Related Instruction Centre) which will be normally attached to ITI/ Polytechnic of the State department of Technical education. Once you get the list from the Apprentice Adviser, you can call them for interview and select them as apprentices. You will also enter in to a contract of apprenticeship with the candidate and his guardian. A copy of the contract shall be sent to the RI Centre also. You have to pay stipend as fixed by the Central Govt.
