One day, I decided to quit... I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit my life.

I went to the woods to have one last talk with God. "God," I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?" His answer surprised me...

"Look around," He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?" "Yes," I replied.

When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed.

But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year, the fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.

And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo, He said.

"In the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. "I would not quit," He said. "Then in the fifth year, a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern, it was seemingly small and insignificant... But just 6 months later, the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots.

Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle," He said to me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots."

"I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you. Don't compare yourself to others..." He said. "The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern... Yet, they both make the forest beautiful." Your time will come," God said to me. "You will rise high!" "How high should I rise?" I asked.

"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return. "As high as it can?" I questioned.

"Yes," He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."

I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you. He will never give up on you. Never regret a day in your life. Good days give you happiness. Bad days give you experiences; Both are essential to life.

A happy and meaningful life requires our continuous input and creativity. It does not happen by chance. It happens because of our choices and actions. And each day we are given new opportunities to choose and act, and in doing so, we create our own unique journey. Keep going...

Happiness keeps you sweet, trials keep you strong, sorrows keep you human, failures keep you humble, success keeps you glowing, but only God keeps you going!

Hello Mr. Peer Mohamad,

I hope you are doing well. A very nice message for everyone.

I too want to share a tale that is similar to your story, but with a different meaning. I hope you and the members will like it.

Two seeds lay side by side in the luxuriant spring soil.

The 1st seed whispered, "I want to grow! I would like to propel my roots into the earth underneath me and thrust my sprout all the way through the earth's shell above me. I want to spread out my gentle buds like a flag to broadcast the coming of spring. I want to experience the warmth of the sun on my features and the caress of morning dew on my petals."

And as a result, she grows!

The 2nd seed said, "I am scared. If I propel my roots into the earth below, I don't know what I'll come across in the mysterious depths. If I push my way through the tough soil above me, I might harm my fragile sprouts. What if I allow my buds to open and a snail tries to eat them? And if I were to release my blossoms, a little kid may possibly pull me from the ground. No, it's better for me to wait until it is safe."

And thus she waited.

A backyard hen, scratching around in the early spring ground for food, found the waiting seed and quickly ate it.

MORAL OF THE TALE:

INDIVIDUALS WHO REFUSE TO DREAM AND GROW GET SWALLOWED UP BY LIFE.

Have a nice day.

Really, a very encouraging story.

Today, the young generation needs to read such a story as they lose hope very early and may take drastic steps when faced with failure in life. They need to understand that failure is a stepping stone towards success. Failure after a period of 5-10 years is known as experience. So, one should never get demotivated.
