Hi All,
Cellphone has become an integral part of our life, but we never know whether the phone used by us is impairment to our health.
I have come across with this info and thought of sharing with you all. You can use this tips while buying a new phone or have a check on your existing phone. I have tested this with my NOKIA and Motorola phones, its working fine. Kindly put your remark once you try on your cellphone and give your feedback, specially other mobile phone manufacturers (Samsung, LG, HTC etc. etc.)

Hi Achyut,
One can never think that there could be such a simple way to figure out such complex information. I tried it with my Sony Ericsson...mine is Finland manufactured too!! Interesting and useful indeed.

I would still like to have the basis of this identification trick. I found out "00" but my phone is not upto the mark and I'll soon be throwing it out of the window. Further, I believe, most of the mobile phones are made in China.
Achyut, please clarify.
I reckon, that the IMEI no. which appears by pressing *#06# key is just a unique code of your phone instrument and to cross check with the number on its container / box, to say it is original.
