Today is week-end and since no replies for this question from you, let me take the onus of replying to you.
First let us take the food expenditure. It all depends on what sort of a person you are and what sort of life you want to lead! Not joking. Dubai is a place where you can live with a meagre income of AED 1000/- happily and unhappy with AED 35,000/-. Again, I am not joking. All the regional and international food/fast food options, chains and materials are available here. So, if you are a person, who is interested in doing your own cooking, you might end up saving a lot on your monthly budget. If you are a person who loves to eat outside, different restaurant options will tempt you and here again, you can budget yourself from a modest AED 25/- per day to AED 1000/- (breakfast 50/-, lunch 250/- Dinner + drinks + Sheesha/cigar 700/-). These are again actual figures on assumed expenditure situations.
Considering the current job market situation, your experience pool, and with the already available option of accommodation facilities, I would suggest you not to think of anything above AED 5000/- . It does not however mean that there are no chances for you to dream of a bigger and higher pay package.
Sincerely wishing you the very best and do continue to participate and feed us on your job hunting/joining/working experience in the UAE.
