I have one query regarding the satellite course of XLRI. Is the course will be equivalent to the regular course of PM & IR of XLRI? :icon5:Why I am asking this question is I have seen many job portals in which it has been mentioned that "only full time from Premier B-schools of India". In this case what will be the value for Satellite Programme?:confused:
Again The XLRI regular students get good exposure towards the business world for which they have been paid very high salary n senior positions in corporates.:-P So in this case also if we compare both programmes, then where will the satellite programme will stand? :idea:

This Is Missionary School Based Privated Limited Institute And Has Financial As Well As Functional Autonomy Because They Don't Want State Interferrence And Board Of Trustees Belonging To Their Interest Only.

Long distance education is primarly meant for working professionals who do not want to quit their jobs and do a full time program. Secondly, the satellite like program deliver knowledge that is required in a streached pattern of 3 yrs in comparision to 2 yrs of a regular program. If you want do 2 yrs then take a sabatical from the company and do that, if its permitted.
As far as the crenditial is concerned, at least amoung Indian companies, XLRI & TISS is given priority in HR programs, while IIM (A) is also equally good. If I need to rate one amoung these top ranked then XLRI is the best.
You need to pay for the quality of education that you wish to take. This is a funded instituation which has tradition behind and quality too. If you have studied in colleges like St Stephen's Delhi or Loyola Chennai then you will be able to appreciate the quality of education that they render.

Had they been into research and development they definately would have got Nobel Laureates and Scholers. They do not possess any world class know-how or methodologies of global recognitions to say as quality education.
This is bogus propoganda of quality education has no yardstick to measure what is quality element in their education. What we understand the term Quality means world class, global standard is quality. This require measure of Nobel Prize Nominees and scholers produced by such quality institutes. Which has no relevence with this kind of Institutes functioning in India. Therefore its bogus prpoganda.
Moreover, this differentiation is discriminatory and bias which is not global practice. No institutes can be measure in this manner of verbal debates or imaginary conclusions. This myth spreading propoganda and scandal mongering was old tricks now but in this Information Technology Age people are accessible to counter checking of information and meausre the bluff masterings. We are accessible to all kind of information to varify the what exactly they delievere.

Basically, these kind of institutes are being promoted under the religious argument to preserve social, cultural and religious values by promoting such education system through the private limited institutes by registering charitable trust by Christian Missionaries Association, Hindu RSS affiliated Education Institutes, Muslim affiliated Anjuman Islam Education System, Parsi Religious Trust etc to obtain government approval to come into existence and recognized as autonomous religious trusteeship to conduct religious preachigs.-Bible, Qaran, etc..
