Loss to Indian companies in the global slowdown
The global slowdown hits Indian economy very hard. The impact is very high on Indian companies. Most of the Indian companies have been suffering loss due to the global and domestic slowdown.
Companies have been trying the cost-cut measures in order to keep their financial position fit in this global slowdown. Some companies have been cutting the production due to the slump in demand for the products.

Dear Friend
I appreciate your valuable posting. Concern to this, I need to add certain points-
A. Companies, Inc's having their major part of profits share markets from USA, Europe have major impact. Since their major the International clients are from this 2 locations.
B. We Indian's are concern but at not the level of international meltdown coz we are in habit of putting the our rations for an advance or say for a month. This is of less matter of bother.
C. Meltdown has affected the certain service sectors like- Aviation Etc. This is co-related with International Oil Price. Since India is not the major part of Oil Producing Countries.

Sachin,
My apologies, since was unable to post any for long time. The global meltdown has huge impact on Indian economy. India has not been one of the major producers of the crude oil in the world. But the consumption of the oil in India is large. On that aspect, it would be big deal for the country to keep its growth intact.
The companies have been badly affected and that is ultimate. Companies have been adopting cost cut measures and Companies like TCS have reported a loss of some million dollar in currency fluctuations. which is disclosed in its 3rd quarter result. because of fluctuation in the currency rates.
Hope, the year would be good time for India, and govt would get success in checking the major impact of the global meltdown on the economy.
