I recently looking HR Activities in my company. It 14 months It Services company.
My question is
IT services company will come under Shop & Establish ment act ? or Factories act.
My employees count is 25.
Shall we need to register under shop & establishment act?
If yes then what could be the statutory formalities?
Shall we need to file any returns during financial year?
Regarding Leave Policies:
How many Paid , Sick leaves eligible for IT company employees during financial year?
What could be the Maternity leave police for IT Company

1 Trainee
2. Contact
3. Perminent Employee
Right now I am allowing 1 sick leave for trainee and contact consultant per month and
perminent/regular/ payroll employement allowing 12 EL and 6 SL and 18 EL eligible once completion service 1 year.
Ours is IT BPO kind of company and 6 working days a week
Does my company leave policy is statutory complient?
What kind statutory formalities & submission shall file with Labour Dept?

Right now I am paying VAT,ServiceTax,Incometax,PT. I am under processing of PF registration.
Labour officer is enforcing to register under Shop & Estblishment Act. otherwise his going to serve notice.
