Hi,
I am pursuing an MBA from Pune University. I have completed my project on HR manual creation, but an important aspect of the project involves analysis and interpretation. For this purpose, I need to develop a questionnaire, but I am struggling to formulate one. Could you please assist me in creating the questionnaire and provide guidance on structuring the project and its essential components?
I appreciate your help and look forward to your response. Thank you.

Hi!
An HR Manual, to be worthy of its name, must contain the eleven (11) policy areas that consist of the critical aspects of an HR Manager's job and responsibility. These areas are: Manpower Planning, Recruitment, Compensation, Benefits, Training & Development, Labor Relations, Manpower Movement, Payroll & Timekeeping, Discipline Management, Organization Development, and Performance Management.
Moreover, one must be able to distinguish an "HR Manual" from an "Employee Handbook". The handbook contains the "Conditions for Employment" and normally includes the "Code of Ethics & Discipline". As such, the former is intended as a general reference for supervisors and managers, while the latter is intended for distribution to all employees.
Best wishes.
