IP will get medical treatment benefit from the date of joining. But what about the medical treatment for family members of IP? Please clarify about my doubt.

No, IP will get medical benefit from very 1st day only in case of accident, his regular benefits starts only after 78 days contribution i.e 3 months
similar is family benefit, they can get same facility,
However if the employee is using an old IP number and was contributory in as employee in previous organization also, then from day 1 he and his family is eligible
