I am Kavitha. I have one doubt regarding ESIC smart card. If family members are living in different places then how can they take family group photo? Is there any other way to cover all family members under ESIC Smart Card?

Madam I would like to inform you this is not possible if your family member are living in another place. because at the time of making smart card we save all member finger prints and group photos which is not possible by any another software

Hi Kavita,
You have to take group photo of all family members for smart card. In photo session please tell all employees to mention family members only if they can bring them for photo session. Otherwise they can directly go to ESIC office along with their family members for taking photo. After that they can avail benefit from anywhere in India.

Dear All,
our company employees has received their ESIC cards.but no one has yet availed them as we are also in with a mediclaim tie-up.but i would really like to know the activation process (as the card needs to be activated) and also the process for filing claims or if there's also the option of cashless if requied. also what more can the Hr do to help these employees and also the necessary documents for activation or any other process... please guide me in this aspect.
