1st of all i would like to wish--"HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY"---to all my dear friends.
an industry where i am working at present.
in that industry CTC system is there in which 8.33% bonus is calculated on basic & 4.81% gratuity also on the same.
that means from my salary i am getting bonus and gratuity and in case if i leave my job after 4yr. then i would not receive my gratuity amt.
so why this gratuity 4.81% is shown & deducted in the CTC.

Dear kamlesh,
It depends on the terms & conditions of your appointment letter. If it is mentioned like that you will get your gratuity as per the gratuity act in that case you are not eligible to get your gratuity amount if you leave the job after 4yrs. If it is not like that, in that case you can get your gratuity amount on pro rata basis.
