Hi all. I'm working in a start up IT company. Here we didn't maintain a proper increment procedure for employees. For example giving increment after 3 months / 6 months / likewise after probation period and next will be given after 1 year from the date of first increment. So that employees got some disappointment if someone got increment who have joined at the same time he / she joined.
We have also trainees here we are giving stipend and informed them will be increased based on their performance. So I want to change this procedure in a proper way without any disagreement with the employees as well as trainees. Can anyone give me the best solution in this regards and tell me How to create a proper increment process will be helpful for me

I am not clear about your name and place of posting and company name.
However, the best answer to your querry is to introduce a performance appraisal system.
It is not advisable to give employees increment every 3 months/6 months.
Make an uniform policy on this and give increment irrespective of caste, creed, age, sex etc
Prepare an increment slab and link this with a performance rating.
For further details, you can contact me.
