In Maharashtra, the state Government has formed the separate board to finalised the wages of the security guard board. These rates are applicable to all industries, but these rates are higher then the unskill labour rate. Therefore most of the industries file the application for the guard board exemption. If any unable to pay this guard board rate, then they will pay as per the state government's schedule employment category rate or rate applicable for shops and establishment category.
In you case, if there is shop act applicable, then you can consider the shop act minimum wages for security guard.
