When you correspond through email-suggest that printouts are not to be taken unless essential.
Slogans like "do you really need this printout"
Do you need extra copies?
An email could be written addressed to all saying that -It is noticed that consumption of paper is on the rise,resulting in increased costs, wastage of paper,unneccessary copies and printouts.You are requested to participate in the drive to save paper and reduce stationery expenses.
Aslo remind them that they contribute to saving the environment.
Some tips
Use both sides of paper
Have lesser number of CC addresses.
Use print selection to take out only needed pages.
Involve all staff in friendly and educative way to reduce paper consumption.
