PF wage slab is Rs.6500
where PF wage includes: Basic+DA+RA
Example :
Actual salary say :7500 (fixed by company)
basic percentage 50% of actual salary or salary you received with OT or other allowances if may varies
then, Basic of your salary: (50/100)*7500= 3750
Now,
your PF wage:3750
Employee PF contribution rates: 12%
Employer PF contribution rate: 3.67%
Employer Pension contribution rate: 8.33%
Thus your(Employee) PF contribution rate only deducted from your PF wage 3750 which is (12/100)*3750=450
Please go through your Basic of salary and percentiles of PF of related rules of schedule industries/factories/establishment of you state rules of factories since percentage varies for sick industries, others too.

You said in your previous job your take home salary is Rs.7500, now are you in the same place, same profession have you ever took your payslip; you said yours is a branch then it could be commercial establishment connected to HO/Factory since you haven't mentioned your company type . Mathur EPF regulations cannot effect a establishment which could be covered under prior 1996 or before shops & estd act registration as at the time of its registration its man power is less than 10 and not get itself registered to EPFO even after. all i can help in this is give details of your company related factory either seasonal or non seasonal and its related head office, shops- ware houses; establishments- Branches all these concerns since here we deal with Business Laws as well as Labour laws. Stay in touch .......
