I work for a tier 1 IT organization in Mumbai. I joined the organization in 27th June 2019 and was given a role in which was not aligning with my career goals. Recently I got an offer from another IT company and is offering me the role which I aspire for but they want me to join in 30 days.
As per my appointment letter (of current organization) I will be on probation period of 180 days and if I am on probation period and I decide to resign then i will have to server notice period of 30 days only. My probation period is getting over on 27th Dec 2019 and I am planning to resign on 23rd December. Can my current organization force me to serve 90 days notice period?
