You should first read as much of references, blogs, journals, books etc as possible published on the subject. This is also a very popular subject. Care should be taken to coin a proper, fresh title depicting your targeted issue(s).
1.You should short list the target employers orgn., prepare a well thought out questionnaire encompassing questions focusing your specialist areas -attrition).
2.You should visit the employees as well as employers, talk to them one to one, note down their opinions & responses in your properly indexed work book/diary which also an important document to be examined by the university examiners who'll conduct viva-voce with you on your project work on a fixed date before your exams.
3.Obtain the questionnaires duly filled by them on a time frame, index them & file neatly. 4.Prepare tables/plates & graphs (preferably in multi color), sum the responses
5.Present the text on responses, properly summing up, indicating in terms of %ages on every such questions.
6.Prepare an Executive summary, highlight some specific responses which need attention, hits & misses and draw out your conclusion.
7.In the process, it's also important to take advises of your seniors, refer previous project reports in your library and discuss the progress, problems faced with your guide professors as frequently as possible.
8.Also send status report periodically to your guide/ professor/HoD.
It is good to add few photos, diagrams, organisation charts, JDs etc in your report.
Usually full draft is prepared and a print is given & discussed with your guide /HoD for their vetting. After incorporating their suggested corrections you prepare a final draft, duly, indexed, get the final approval. Secure a soft copy. Three or Four copies of the report may be prepared, i) U'sity copy-One Original ii) One copy to the college/dept./ iii) one copy to the library iv) your personal copy.
ENSURE no text is copied from other's report. You are free to list out & add all references, net blogs, books & journals, news items etc. in your bibliography.
