I am planning to start a NGO on a really small scale basis. I want to register it officially, so looking for a name that is already not been registered.
Our aim is to provide free food for the homeless people living on the streets in India.

I am considering Mission Annapoorna as of now... But would like to look if any one suggests something better too. As we would also like to do other social activities apart from feeding homeless people... So let me know if you people have ideas... Thanks again. :)

Vinay, its good to see people coming front to do some good deeds.
However, the name Annapoorna belongs to a group of famous hotels in Tamil Nadu. So anything you do in that name and the credit will go to those groups.
So I suggest you to look into other names and take some votes finalizing few and also checking with the Registrars website for any name registrations on what you chose.

First I want to suggest that please make vision, mission and guiding principals for your NGO. As these will guide you in future to take more intatives to achieve your vision and mission. Also choose the activities which have more impact on life and living standard of your target peoples, it must levitate the living standard of target people and final aim must be to make it self sustainable. So that you can move out after some time and work for more peoples or benefaciries.
Second do some survey to access need of peoples and resources available and how your experience and skills can be utilized in batter way to improve the situation.
Finally make suure providing food to street and homeless is good start but not the final activity of your NGO.
PS: after defining vision and mission select the name which easily connect to these statements.

Hope and Hold on.
