As per RTI Act 2005, all information except those covered under Section 8 etc can be sought and is to be answered by the public authority. It would be better to educate yourself based on the net resources available which are in plenty.

In addition to the above observation of our learned friend KK(!)HR, I would like to request to go through the definition of the term " Public Authority " as defined u/s 2(h) of the RTI Act,2005. Therefore, you can not exercise your right to information under the Act, unless your employer or the particular employer happens to be a "Public Authority".
