On joining my gross salary was 10000/-(basic is 60%) which now increased to Rs 20000/-. Am i eligible for the bonus or not?

You are eligible of Bonus under the Act till such time your Basic is up to Rs. 10000/-. The month in which your Basic is increased to more than 10000/- you are ceased to be eligible for Bonus.

Hi, If your current basic salary is 60 % of Rs. 20,000 then you are not eligible for bonus. But if your basic salary is up to Rs.10,000 then you are eligible for Bonus. Regards, Shikha.

Dear Sanjeev,
Even if your salary crossed Rs. 10,000, you will get bnous at prorata basis for the partial period within bonus limit. If in the first of the financial year itself the salary is beyond 10,000, statutory bonus is not eligible.
