As per Standard requirement we are maintaining Legal register which is applicable to our industry.
But in our HSE procedure mentioned Legal register revived once in a quarter and lagal register revised once in a six month.
1. As per standard requirement how we should maintain the document (quarter revive file and half yearly revised file)
2. If there is no any new amendment or changes in legal register what to do.

The organisation is supposed to know the Legal Requirements applicable to it.
You can visit the websites of all Legal laws for any changes. You can also subscribe to some agencies like M/s Webstac who regularly give updates in all EHS legal laws with some nominal fees.
You can have social bodies who arrange training programs in these area.
In case if there is any change the applicability to your organisation shall be studied and if applicable the legal register is to be revised.
If not, you can always show the evidences that you did net surfing, your subscriptions to agency like Webstac. ( Mr. Bukkawar tel no 9820503444, I have found their services very Useful)
You can read the posts of Mr. PC Agrawal who is very quick in uploading the changs in legal requirements.
In our case we change the legal register as and when there is any amendment, notification. We do not wait for the prescribed 3 or 6 months to address the changes in our system.
In our case the compliance to legal requirements is done on monthly basis.
