Below options for picnics ex-mumbai(assuming ur co. is in mumbai & not pune)
Bhandardara near igatpuri is a good place having mtdc dormitary and rooms. Travel time 4 hrs 1 way
Another good location would be kashid beach 35 kms ahead of Alibaug. And a novel way of going to this place can be take a launch from Gateway of india to alibaug and arrange for a vehicle from alibaug to kashid and back. Travel time 2 1/2 hrs ex-Gateway of india
