You have to formulate your leave policy based on the leave provisions of the establishment-specific labor law applicable to your establishment. You should remember that the scales of statutory leave are minimum only. Therefore, your leave policy may accommodate higher scales or other kinds of leave not mentioned in the Act provided the nature of work requires or the management is willing.
Besides, the policy may contain the combination of different types of leave and the prefixing or suffixing holidays with the leave spell.
