Respected Seniors,
On the grounds of Sickness (Medical Certificate issued by ESI Hospital) employee has availed sick leave for 30 days. Contributions for the employee has been paid regularly to ESI. Since the employee is eligible for Sickness Benefit under ESI. Is the employer duty bound to pay salary for 30 days (Employee has 30 days SL) ?
Please clarify my doubt.
