How to convert data of punching machine into "P", "A", (presence and absent). Pls, give some idea in excel to convert data?

In order to convert i.e. download attendance data from the attendance punching device you need to export the data from Biometric Device either to a pen drive or connect the device to a PC / Laptop. Most of the Biometric Devices are Wi-fi enabled devices and can be accesed through the computer which has installed the Attendance Software of that biometric machine. As soon as you access the Device through computer you get the options to download the data. The Presents and Absents are automatically shown in the downloaded data.
2. Since there are different brands of Biometric Machines based on specific softwares, so it is advisable to please obtain user and Admin manual of the Biometric Device and find out the instructions of downloading the data. In case the vendor has already given demo to some person in your company, take the help of that person or you can also call the technician of the machine vendor to demonstrate the process to you if you are not getting required help from the concerned person in your company.
