I am a manager of an simple organisation,
kindly explain the ESI benefit and contribution for the employee those who waged the BASIC salary above 15000 this is from the employee side,
kindly explain the situation to the employer when an employee waged above 15000, whether the employee continue the ESIC or other private insurance benefit,
suppose the employee joint in a private insurance, how i can fill the contribution column in the ESI monthly contribution list and how can i make the payroll in accounting

Dear Guruxrays,
ESI Act is applicable in case Gross salary of an employee is less than Rs. 15000/-. it is mandatory for you to cover the employee under ESIS if your establishment is covered or coverable under ESIS.
If Gross salary is above Rs. 15000/- ESI is not applicable and in no way the employee is to be covered under ESIS.
If Gross salary of any employee exceeds Rs. 15000/- in between the contribution period, he is to be continued in ESIS till the contribution period ends.
There is no substitute to you when any employee is coverable under ESIS.

Apart from what Mr. Korgaonkar has mentioned, you can cover the employees in Mediclaim and Accident Policies if your employer wishes to. But it is not mandatory
