Hi, I have joined a company this year in lockdown period and had to leave the company within 2 months because of my personal reasons. I have written an email to my reporting manager and hr about the same. They tried convincing me to work which I couldn't continue and left the company without serving notice period. I had all these conversations to HR through emails.

After 2 weeks I got an opportunity and joined the other company. I didn't mention my previous company experience which is of 2 months to my current employer.

1) 2 months after this, my previous company has sent a termination letter with an incorrect last working day to me. Should I accept it even though the last working day is incorrect? Or should I request for change in LWD?

2) Going forward, should I mention this 2 months experience and also tell my current company About this?

I am in a dilemma whether to tell this to my current employer or not.

I am really worried about these two concerns.

Please help me with this.

The responses to your queries are as follows:
1) Your acceptance or refusal to accept the termination order is not making any difference as the LWD remains the same. You may request for change of LWD but will the employer accept it, considering that you left them without serving the NP.
2) It is reckoned that you have not mentioned this to the current employer. Are you a member of PF now and in the previous organisation?. If so , the fact of your previous employment will be known when they log in for PF membership with the current organisation. Otherwise there is no necessitating reason to disclose it now.
This is one pernicious practice these days, job hopping, NP jumping etc., have become very common due to hasty decisions taken and later they got caught in irretrievable situations.

Sir, Thanks for your response. Yes, I am a member of pf in my previous and current company. It’s been two months now with the new company.
