Hi,
If Saturday is working day for you then leave of absence for the period 15th July to 17th July need to be considered as 3 days leave. Which means sandwich leave policy will apply.
If Saturday is holiday for your office then only 17th July,2023 will be considered as leave as 15th & 16th July,2023 are week off.
Which means sandwich leave policy will not apply.

In my current organisation we have 14 PL & 10 CL for a year, what would be the monthly limit for the PL & CL to be consumed by the employee.
Need to set some rules for the employee to take the leave

Hi,
In general, casual leaves can be availed for a minimum of half a day to a maximum of three days. Beyond this, leaves should be availed as earned leave or privileged leaves.
Rather than monthly limit based on the genuineness of the leave requirement Employers use to consider the leave request of employees. If an employee is requesting for 15 days leave for his Marriage, subject to leave balance Employer need to consider and can't apply monthly limit rule here.
