Dear Seniors / Professionals,
I am employed with a reputed Org. in NCR as Dy Mgr, since last 10+ years, as one of the best performers.
One day HR person called and ask to resign due to annual lower performance rating. He explained Top Mgt
pressure to remove lower rating persons. (approx 10~15 person), for Manpower cost cutting.
HR explained, your performance is OK but some alignment issue with plant head which was never explained
earlier and no warning / bad record. Rating in HR-System performance index is 4.5/5.0 and final manual rating 1.0/5.0.
Finally I have to resign and HR assured to compensate with 17 days gratuity and 2 months salary.
Till now company has removed about 12 persons like this in last 3 months and giving verbal
assurance to support for job at some supplier end. As per sources now they have plan to
remove 60 old persons by next 2~3months and replace by some freshers.
We expect at least company should have given VRS with (90+17) 107 days compensation x no of working years,
like some other MNCs have done in past.
I need guidance or support from seniors/Professionals, what can be done as an Individual or as a Team.

1. Do you want to continue with the same company as an employee??
2. You just want to get your compensation as per your expectations and resign ?
For either of the cases , we will be in need of the following proof
1. The service period that you were with the organisation
2. mail proofs from your HR stating your reason of resignation?
3. The compensation that the company was ready to afford as a written statement.

Under Ministry of Human Resources we can take necessary action and see that you are given justice..

As mentioned, hr person called and ask to resign as annual performance arting is 1/5 and they will pay 2months salary as per notice period and gruduity of 17 day. There is no communication in writing and i have to resign. I do not want to work with company now. HR has pressure to cut down labour cost so they have done same with the 12 to 15 staff persons engr to mgr level and will continue next 2 or 3 month. I have total of 20 years exp and 11years in this company. Usually when MNC came 10 yrs back they use to provide VRS with compensation of 107days salary per year working exp,. People are resigning under pressure and do not have job in mkt. How we can pressurise company for VRS or better compensation as invidiual or team as staff member ,,,,, what are the options. Please support.
