Dear Mr Raju
I have gone through the query you have put with the Forum, for getting factory license under the provisions of section 6 of the Factories Act, 1948 an occupier is required to get its factory building plans approved from the Chief Inspector of the Factories of the State where the factory is situated an accordance with provisions stipulated in the State Factory Rules prior to take of the occupation of the building. As far as question of what are the points to be taken care of, the plan should be consisting of a Site Plan to the scale of 1 = 100, layout plan to the scale of 1= 10, cross section of the buildings, sectional elevation, front elevation and it should be consisting of general information about the industry, manufacturing process, layout of the machinery to be installed in the plant and it should be shown in the layout plan of the building, safety provisions such like exit doors, emergency exits, fire hydrants system, fire extinguishers position, number of workers to be deployed etc. If you have any specific query about this you can directly mail me to
