Thank you avika for explaining the whole in a nutshell:) I have two questions based on your response, 1. HR Policy- is it only what the company folmulates or are there any regulations governing the same? and 2. Non- compliances with what, only the policies or others as well?

HR policy including statutory, legal and specifics by company will be taken in to consideration for HR Audit. HR processes,procedures, systems etc can come under this. Purpose is to evaluate entire HR function to add value to processes and boost business performance.
