Hi All,
Thanks all for trying to add some value to this discussion. Well, I do understand the role HR needs to play as a strategic/business partner & the importance of understanding Organization goals.
Hence it was not a debate started at all:huh:? It was just a query that I had raised may be due to mismatch of expectations from this article title :)

Every CEO is more concerned to continued company growth and increased profits at each Q. This is the general and express wish, objective, goal and commitment of each CEO. Who soover, met this vision of the ceo is good and gets a pat; others face the rap. HR is no exception. He should ensure right man at right place with full economy so that company growth is maintained and maintained always.
