Dear Alka Mohindru,
Your 10-worded post is too short. It does not give any context. Have you raised the query for yourself or it is on behalf of someone? Where is the harassment happening and who is doing it? The meaning of "tenured" is appointed for life and not subject to dismissal except for a grave crime. Do you have employees with lifetime employment?
What exactly is the nature of harassment? Did anyone raise their voice against the harassment?
Your question is on civil law on harassment. Under the provisions of the Indian Standing Orders Act, a workman can raise a grievance against the senior for harassment. However, a grievance-handling mechanism must be created. If the company does not have a proper procedure to handle the grievance, then there is a chance of it being pushed under the carpet.
Thanks,
