Dear seniors, I am working as HR manager in a real estate firm since one year.Since beginning one of the director use to do cheap comments on me.I tried to ignore 2-3 times but later on i replied him harshly as the comments were body shaming.
After that day that director is creating uncomfortable environment for me in office and hired someone else in place of mine without my knowledge and now forcing me resign immediately saying that there is no need of my profile now. Senior i really need your advise on what should i do now.

Being HR professional why did you approach this forum belatedly? You could have sought advice on how to handle unsavoury comments by one of the Directors.
Instead of emotional outburst, you could have told him in private about your feelings. During this meeting, you could have recorded the conversation in mobile to generate evidence. You could have told that his remarks falls within the purview of sexual harassment. If the Director would have remained intractable then you could have raised the official complaint on sexual harassment.
Anyway, this learning is in hindsight and it has no consequence for the challenge at hand. Now the solution to your problem lies in approaching MD of your company. As such in real estate companies there is one-man-show and this one-man is always MD. Write letter/mail to MD asking for the meeting. Without evidence, you have weakened your case. However, nothing wrong if you take a chance. If MD also remains inexorable then there is no option but to quit the company!

You could have filed complaint of sexual harassment depending on the type of harassment. However, as written in previous post, the complaints are taken seriously provided there is incontrovertible material evidence. Where is evidence in your case? As far as India is concerned, conviction rate in sexual assault cases is just 26% In the court hearings, judges admit that the sexual assault has taken place but because of the lack of evidence, the accused is/are acquitted.

In confirmation to the contents of Mr. Dinesh Divekar I wish to add further. The SHWW Act 2013 has provision of Internal Complaint Committee in which first of all the complaint shall be lodged and within specified time frame the matter shall be resolved. If dissatisfied with the result you may file case against the culprit with concrete evidences.
