ANNUAL PERFOMANCE RATING
Hello sir, I am working in an MNC comany in an TELECOM INDUSTRY.
Before the declaration of result my REPORTING MANAGER(APPRAISER) has given an written mail to me that he has given me a good rating .but when the actual result comes out I have been communicated to me as I rating(improvement required),can i argue with my HR manager(REVIEWER) taht why my rating was changed ?. Can I challenge my rating with the email sent by my manager ?my manager is saying that he has not done anything.

I am not conversant with sap procedure. A good rating does not preclude need for improvement in certain areas. For example, a lecturer has a number of KRAs. Kra Form Lecturer
(S)he may be good in some (Research, etc.) and not so good in others (Accessibility for consultaion). Overall performance could be good but need improving in others.
So, if you provide more details, some experts can guide you better.
